Spencer Duncan
Student Ministries Pastor:

Pastor Spencer Duncan, the youth pastor at South Hills Assembly, is dedicated to junior high & senior high students! His vision, his passion is to reach students with the life-changing love of Jesus, connect them with other believing students through small groups, challenge them to grow in their faith on a daily basis, help them discover their unique ministry gifts and lead them to honor God in every part of life.

Spence is originally from Salt Lake City, Utah. In 1993 he graduated from North Central University in Minneapolis, Minnesota where he majored in pastoral studies. He married Julie in 1991. They have two children, Danielle and Devin. Spence served as a youth pastor in Illinois for 9 years, and in March of 2002, the Duncan family came to serve at South Hills Assembly.

Pastor Spence, along with a dedicated team of adult volunteers, provides weekly services and many events for students. Events include youth retreats, youth conventions, youth camp, missions trips, amusement park outings, concerts, fine arts festivals, ministry teams, Teen Bible Quizzing, small groups, and so much more!!

Satellite Youth, a service for teens happens every Tuesday night for Sr. High (Grades 9-12) and Wednesday night for Jr. High (Grades 6-8) from 7-8:30 pm in the Youth Center. Energetic praise & worship, relevant messages with music, drama, illustrations, a youth café, video games, basketball and a whole lot more!

There are also two satelliteyouth university services on Sunday mornings from at 9 and 11 am, both in the Youth Center. Exciting praise & worship, fun group games, small groups, relevant messages, and a whole lot more!

The satellite youth choir meets on Sunday evenings from 6:30-7:45 pm in the studio on the C2 level.
