Note from Pastor Jared

Jessica and I are so excited to come back home to Pittsburgh, back to South Hills Assembly, and back to the Children’s Ministry! I am a product of South Hills, and the experiences I’ve had with God here have changed my life and set the tone for my life with God and my ministry. Many of you have ministered to me, loved on me, and helped me grow into who I am. Thank you so much for your love and support to me and my family. It is one of the greatest privileges of my life to come back and serve you as Children’s Pastor. We want to grow close to God with you, learn to parent with you, and serve with you. We look forward to getting to know all of you better, and we are praying for God’s best blessings on you.

  Creative Arts Pastor - Adult music leadership
  Initiated, developed and taught the curriculum for premarital ministry
  Wrote creatively and recruited leaders
  Oversaw media and set design

  Men’s Chaplain Program Coordinator (Oversaw, recruited and trained 40   
male Floor Chaplains and mentored 6 Spiritual Life Dorm Directors)
  Spiritual Life Dorm Director and Floor Chaplain (Pastored students on floor through weekly devotional meetings)

  Contemporary Worship Assistant - Led worship band and directed choir

  Attended Hillcrest Christian Academy and led worship in chapels
  Volunteered, taught, led worship, prayed with, and connected with children at VBS and Children’s camps
