The ministries of Fine Arts exist above all to bring joy to the heart of God. They provide an opportunity for people to use their unique gifts and talents to enhance communication of the Gospel and create an atmosphere that welcomes God’s presence, where people can personally experience Him, His power, and His love.
Celebration Choir -"Sing to the Lord a new song." Psalm 33:3
Energetic, exciting and Christ-exalting group of vocalists who meet weekly to lift Jesus higher! The "Celebration Choir" sings a variety of worshipful and exuberant songs for the morning worship services every Sunday. Whether an inspiring anthem or a soulful sway, the Celebration Choir aspires to worship and praise God through song. "Sending the appointed singers" is a joyful experience we embrace.
Meets for rehearsal every Thursday evening at 7:15p.m.
Creation Theatre Company: Drama -
Drama and the Visual Arts play an importand role in expressing God's message at South Hills Assembly. Opportunities are varied from Sunday sermon illustrations, human videos, lighthearted announcements, video productions, special events and seasonal productions. This provides ministry not only to our own fellowship, but to our immediate community and the Pittsburgh metro area as well. Drama is a great way to break down barriers that many people coming to church have. We need actors, writers, directors and technical assistance.
Workshop Guys -
This unique group allows you hanymen to get together each week for a time of fellowship, prayer and work. This particular group assists with seasonal productions but also maintains a very busy schedule year-round covering various needs within the different departments.
Christian Artistry, In Focus- Photography -
Our vision is to motivate Christian Artists within our body of believers, to further develop the gifts God has blessed them with for His glory. This ministry provides fellowship, teaching and most importantly, a bridge to both believers and non-believers. There is a wide variety of opportunities for each artist to be involved in ministry - from local art show to creatively painting our own classrooms and children's area. Our artists are also heavily involved in the seasonal productions each year. In Focus captures the life of our community on camera, providing us with memories of events taking place throughout the year.
Media Arts -
Our core purpose of this ministry is to use ever-improving electronic media techniques and formats to communicate the Gospel to the lost outside the church and enhance the presentation of God's Word during church services and events. There are many aspects of media arts, ranging from sound engineering, camera operators, video/computer prompters for each service, floor managers for productions and drama, video producers, theater lighting control, computer graphic designs and animation.

Orchestra, Worship Band
From Brass to Woodwinds, Cellos to Cymals, Guitars to Keyboards, the Worship Band and Orchestra join in to make worship an exciting and joyful experience every service. These instrumentalists lift up worship with tones of praise and excellence.

Daughters of Praise Banner Ministry -
"Thou hast given a banner to those who fear Thee, that it may be displayed because of the Truth." Psalm 60:4
Daughters of Praise is a zealous group of individuals dedicated to walking in the fear of the Lord and worshipping the Lord our God in spirit and truth using banners and flags as prophetic wave offerings. Their rmodesty in dance and grace in movement completes the exuberant and oft time tender worship before the Lord.
