Pastor Paul Boisvert

Paul Boisvert is an ordained Assembly of God minister with 19 years of music ministry experience. He has been the Worship Pastor at First Assembly of God in York, PA since 1999. He is a master's graduate of Regent University and the Boston Conservatory of Music.

His wife, Jill, is a school teacher and currently teaches math from home for Achievement House Charter School. She enjoys being active in church life and has been regularly involved by singing in the church choir, participating in Christmas musicals, and in whatever other ways she can assist Paul in ministry.

They have two daughters. Emily, age 15, plays keyboard and guitar and Melody, age 14, works as a helper in the kindergarten children's church and plays the piano and drums. Both girls enjoy being involved in youth group activities and have participated in the church's annual Christmas musical and the Fine Arts Festival where they have made it to nationals in piano solo, human video and small vocal ensemble.

Pastor Paul's current responsibilities include the oversight and administration of the Worship and Fine Arts ministry including choir, seasonal productions, worship team, worship band, orchestra, leading worship, vocal ensembles, and the oversight of technical ministries including sound, media, CD duplicating, pod-casting and lighting.

Pastor Paul plays the piano, guitar and saxophone and has experience with vocal and instrumental arranging and orchestration. He has authored two full-length Christmas musicals and has produced several choir CDs.

He has served on the Penn-Del Core Music Team and has been a conference speaker at a number of Penn-Del Minister's Institute Breakout Sessions and South Central East Section Leadership Summit Breakout Sessions.

Pastor Paul fulfills the 25-point criteria for Staff Pastors of South Hills Assembly and has a servant's spirit and serves God's people by building up their skills and helping them to release their gifts. His vision is to promote and increase the worship of God through every means possible, including leading public worship, teaching worship as a lifestyle and training the next generation of spiritual leaders. Pastor Paul will blend contemporary and traditional worship styles into a meaningful congregational worship experience.
