Pastor Jack C. Stepp

Activating Anew The Mission

Meet the Pastors

Volunteer Opportunities

From the members of the elected leadership:

Mission Possible is underway! We're changing service times to 9 and 11 AM next Sunday, September 17 th !

As a fellowship we have now the opportunity to transition into a growth mode.

The parking lot is often completely full for the second service. The rule discovered by research is when 80% of your parking spaces are used on an average Sunday, it's necessary to add spaces to grow. We cannot add spaces because we are “land-locked.”

Also, the perception is that the best time for families to attend is the second service, when there is more age-devoted ministry.

The change of service times is only “the tip of the iceberg,” because the greater opportunity is in changing our perception of both Sunday morning service times. Greater growth can only be potentially released by offering two full-ministry times and balancing the attendance for both services.

Balancing the attendance of the services will open up more than 100 new places for Christ-fo9llowers to serve Jesus.

Pastor Bernie: It's a win – win – win – win – win – win situation :..for children and youth, for finding parking spaces, for the reasons the new building was built, for volunteers in ministry, for the unreached , and most of all, because of all these wins, for God.

Pastor Jack:

Isaiah 61:1-3, The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve in Zion

— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

Jesus is a top level leader that humbly, but with a rigorous will, did what was necessary to lead in the greatest strategic challenge in the universe – to bring to Father God a forever family.

It is God's strategic plan for us to share with the South Hills of Pittsburgh :

  1) The Good News of salvation in a clear and understandable way so your friends and family can be saved from hell and for heaven.

2) The healing of broken hearts, so that there may be Changed Lives.   3) The freeing of those taken captive

  4) The healing of bodies and emotions.

  5) The abounding grace of the Lord.

  6) God's comfort for the hurting.

7) The folks are clothed with garment of praise and anointed with the oil of joy.

If there's anything Bible history tells us, it is this: God is a Strategic Planner .

The Psalmist said, Taste and see that the Lord is good! No wonder he said, blest is the man who trust s in him!
