Text: Psalm 103:1-5

(All scripture is NIV)

1 Praise the LORD, O my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name.

  2 Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits-

  3 who forgives all your sins, and heals all your diseases,

  4 who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion,

  5 who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the

eagle's .

I. GOD'S GREATNESS & BENEFITS:

God:

1. FORGIVES all your sins ( :3)

  Eph 1:7, Col 1:13, Jn 3:16

2. HEALS all your diseases (:3b)

  1 Peter 2: 24 “ He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.”

3. REDEEMS your life from the pit (:4)

  (Book of Ruth)

4. CROWNS you with love and compassion (:4b)

  Psalm 23

5. SATISFIES your desires with good things (:5)

  Col 2:10, James 1:17, ( Galations 5:16-23)

II . OUR RESPONSE :

We need to:

1. RECEIVE God's blessings:

  Acts 4:12, Romans 10:13

2. WORSHIP GOD:

  Ps 103:17-18, James 1:22- 25, ( Lk 17:11-19, Mt 22:37, Jn 4:23)

Ja 1:22 “ Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.”

3. DECLARE HIS GLORY:

  Psalm 96:3 “ Declare his glory among the nations,
            his marvelous deeds among all peoples”
